such departments: building, road-building, architectural, gas and heat supplying. The main
purpose of the college is teaching students professional technical knowledge and skills in
building sphere. Annually students and creative groups of the college participate in
prestige festivals and competitions taking prize-winning places.
The Architectural Engineering and Interior Design Department has been
functioning in the college since 2009. Professional disciplines are being taught by
members of the National Union of architects of Ukraine O.O.Postolatiy, L.V.Harlamova,
T.O.Penyaz, G.P.Kuzmenko, who professionally communicate to students knowledge on
painting, drawing, composition, architectural design, town planning, architectural details
and history of architecture.
The students of the department A.Ostapchuk, A.Boiko, V.Kotenko successfully
participated in the closed regional competition for the reconstruction of Teatralna Square
in Kirovograd. It was a first competition in which students of the department took part
and they clearly declared themselves as professionals.
The Department of Architecture of Kirovograd Building College is one of
Kirovograd region educational establishments, which provides a professional art education,
along with such institutions as the Design Department of Kirovograd Institute of Regional
Management and Economy, the Art Department of V.Vynnychenko Kirovograd State Pedagogical
University. Graduates of the Department of Architecture of Kirovograd Building College can
enter higher educational establishments of Ukraine in order to continue their education
more thoroughly. It creates favourable conditions for the development of original
Kirovograd urban environment.
More than 50 students' works (drawings, paintings, works on composition) are
presented at the exhibition. The majority of works are academic works; they increase
students' knowledge of building image in perspective, understanding of the structure and
construction of geometric figures, studying the anatomy of the human body. Work with
lines, spots, tone and colour in different proportions teaches to identify qualities of
statics, dynamics and balance of forms, laws of the existence of an object in space,
develops compositional way of thinking. At the same time each student has already become a
creative personality with his\her personal view on art. |
