A personal exhibition of paintings and graphic works of Oleksandriia artist S.F.Nikolenko “Stepan Nikolenko sun palette” was presented within a museum art project of a series of art exhibitions “Laureates of Regional Award in fine arts and study of art named after Olexandr Osmerkin” aimed at promotion the creative work of the artists who became laureates of the award in the nominations “national tradition” and “new tendencies”, also it presupposes organization of personal exhibitions and publication of catalogues with articles about the artists and reproductions of their best works.
    Nikolenko Stepan Fedorovych was born on April 19, 1941 in Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad region. Honorary freeman of Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad region (2008). Laureate of Regional Award in fine arts and study of art named after Olexandr Osmerkin in the nomination “national tradition” (2012).
Graduated from Krasnodar State Pedagogical Institute, Fine Art and Graphic Art Faculty (1968).
    Worked as a lecturer in Krasnodar State Pedagogical Institute and Krasnodar Art College (1968-1972). The director of Oleksandriia Children School of Art (1973-2012). The teacher in Oleksandriia College of Culture and Arts (since 2012). A participant of krai, republican, all-Ukrainian, regional and local art exhibitions (since 1968).
    An artist of a manifold creativity whose realistic manner allows to express his world-view in still life, landscape, and portrait. The works are kept in Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum and O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum in Kropyvnytskyi, Oleksandriia Local History Museum, in Private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
    The current exhibition presents nearly fifty paintings and graphic works of different years, beginning from the 1970s and till nowadays – lyrical landscapes. picturesque stilllifes, and portraits of contemporaries from the author’s collection and from the funds of Kirovohrad Regional Art Museumand O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
