On
March 21, 2016 took place Festive events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of a
well-known Elizabethgrad architect Ya. Pauchenko pursuant to orders of head of Kirovohrad
Regional State Administration from December 25, 2015 ¹524 and Kirovohrad mayor from
February 2, 2016 ¹17 “On celebrating 150th anniversary of a prominent countryman,
architect Yakiv Pauchenko” in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. A theme exhibition and a
catalogue “Artist of architecture Yakiv Pauchenko” was presented during the event.
Architects, artists, ethnographers and students of Kirovohrad Construction
College in the specialty “architectural design and interior” came to the museum on
this jubilee day.
All the present listened to the speeches of Kirovohrad mayor A.Raikovych,
first deputy head of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration S.Kovalenko, head of
Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of architects of Ukraine
L.Kharlamova, head of Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of artists of
Ukraine A.Khvorost.
And a famous Kirovohrad artist, Merited artist of Ukraine S.Shapovalov
presented a painting “Blue cathedral” to the museum. The painting depicts one of the
latest works of the architect Ya.Pauchenko - Holy Ascension Cathedral in Bobrynets,
Kirovohrad region, constructed in 1912, which is now a monument of architecture and urban
planning of national importance.
A musical performance of the best pupils of Kirovohrad music school ¹1
named after H. Neuhaus Kateryna Misko, Arina Sesmii and Mykhailo Solonchenko became a gem
of the event.
A pleasant announcement for all the worshipers of an architectural works of
Elizabethrad architect Ya.Pauchenko became news that on the initiative of O.O.Osmerkin
Art-Memorial Museum and of Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of
architects of Ukraine pursuant to order of Kirovohrad mayor from February 19, 2016 #24 “On
renaming of streets, lanes and other objects of toponymics of the town” Lenina Str. and
Dvortsova Str. (from Velyka Perpektyvna Str. and further), where O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial
Museum is located - Monument of architecture and urban planning 1899 “Personal house of
an architect Pauchenko”, was named after the architect Pauchenko.
All the present got a catalogue “Artist of architecture Yakiv Pauchenko”
and overlooked the theme exhibition.
The exhibition presented to the viewers original documents and photographs from
Ya.Pauchenko archive, which were kept in the painter’s widow N.Osmerkina in Moscow for a
long time, copies from the funds of State Archive of Kirovohrad region, Kirovohrad
Regional Universal Research Library named after D.I.Chizhevsky, Russian State archive of
literature and art, and also author’s photos of a member of the National Union of
Journalists of Ukraine and the National Union of Photo artists of Ukraine I.Demchuk from
the exposition of the exhibition “Stop and admire”, dedicated to the 145th anniversary
of Ya.Pauchenko, presented in 2011 in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. It was symbolic
that first visitors of the exhibition “Architect fo architecture Yakiv Pauchenko” were
students of Art and Graphic Subdepartment of Art Department of Kirovohrad State
Pedagogical University named after V.Vynnychenko. The students together with their
teachers L.Kulinich and L.Harbuzenko came to the museum on March 9, 2016 to the public
lecture which was conducted by a leading researcher of the museum, Merited Artist of
Ukraine A.Nadezhdin. |
