On
March 11, 2016 on the threshold of celebrations of 150th anniversary of
Elizabethgrad architect Yakov Pauchenko a presentation of an exhibition of children’s
drawings “Architectural gems of our town” took place in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial
Museum. The exhibition was organized by the museum together with Kirovohrad children’s
art school named after O.O.Osmerkin and Kirovohrad children’s school of art (Village of
Nove).
More than 30 pictures of young artists reproduce architectural image of the
historical centre of our town. Unique buildings, constructed on the projects of
Ya.Pauchenko at the joint of XIX-XX centuries, adorn the streets of the centre of the
town.
Deputy head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Kirovohrad Town
Council N.Chorna congratulated everyone present on the exhibition opening and gave
Commendation Letters to the stuff of art educational establishments. Congratulatory
speeches also were said by Executive secretary of of Kirovohrad Regional Organization of
the National Union of Architects of Ukraie Yu.Peniaz, a well-known Kirovohrad artist,
member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, head of Fine Art Department of
Kirovohrad children’s school of art Yu.Vintenko and teacher of with Kirovohrad children’s
art school named after O.O.Osmerkin O.Kuznetsova. The speakers expressed their admiration
of the works of the young artists and wished them to keep their love to fine art and
successfully fulfil themselves.
The museum director V.Chernova gave Letters of Commendation to the
participants of the exhibition Mark Bilichanko, karina Laktina and Khrystyna Hlizhynska,
who depicted on their drawings the building of O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. The
leading researcher of the museum, Merited Artist of Ukraine A.Nadezhdin gifted to the
schools theme catalogue “Artist of architecture Yakiv Pauchenko” published by the
museum. The catalogue will be presented in the architect’s birthday on March 21, 2016.
Also young artists received a postcard with the poster of the exhibition and list of its
participants as a gift from the museum.
A performance of pupils of Kirovohrad children’s school of art disposed
everyone to a lyrical mood of viewing of the exhibition. The performers were – laureates
of numerous musical competitions guitar player Mykola Sirak and bandura player Olha
Shlapak, whose drawings are also shown at the exhibition. |
