On August 28,
2015 an opening of a personal exhibition of a member of the National Union of Artists of
Ukraine F.Polonskyi and a presentation of a catalogue “Graphic worlds of Feliks
Polonskyi” within the framework of the project of art exhibitions “In a painter’s
studio” initiated by the museum. The project is aimed at popularization of work of
Kirovohrad artists and presupposes organization of personal exhibitions and publishing of
catalogues with articles about artists, their thoughts on fine art and personal studios,
with works reproductions which brightly show their creative searches.
Polonskyi Feliks Mykhaylovych (born 1941) – a well-known Kirovohrad artist,
laureate of Regional Award in fine arts and study of art named after OlexanderOsmerkin in
nomination “national tradition” (2007), awarded HonorableAward of Ministry of Culture
of Ukraine "for achievements in the development of culture and arts"(2004) and
Diploma of Kirovohrad Regional Council (2011). Participant of numerous regional,
all-Ukrainian and foreign art exhibitions.
More than 70 graphic works, made in different years starting from the second
half of the 1960s andtill the present, are shown at the current exhibition. F.Polonskyi
was congratulated by his fellow-artists, friends and relatives on the opening of the
exhibition. The artist presented to the worshipers of his works catalogue, “Graphic
worlds of Feliks Polonskyi” with his autograph, published by the museum. For many
admirers of fine art the vernissage became a real discovery of one more creative side of
the artist, because, as the painter said during the presentation – despite the fact,
that his graphic works were exhibited for many times, but together with his paintings, it
was firs exhibition of graphic works only.
And on September 2, 2015 a meeting of 4th year students of Art and Graphic
Department of Art Faculty of Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after
V.Vynychenko with F.Polonskyi took place. The painter told the students about his creative
search and peculiarities of graphic techniques. |
