On June 18, 2015 to Constitution Day a theme exhibition “Heraldry of Kirovohrad region” was opened in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. The basis of the exhibition consists of works by Kirovohradheraldists – laureates of Regional Award in the sphere of architecture, heraldy and veksilology and decorative and applied art named after Yakov Pauchenko in the nomination “heraldry and vexillology” - Merited Architect of Ukraine, honorable citizen of Kirovohrad and head of Kirovohrad regional branch of Ukrainian Heraldic Society V.Kryvenko, well-known ethnographers and artist, who are members of Ukrainian Heraldic Society – K.Shliakhovyi, V.Biloshapka, O.Poliachok, S.Marushchak, V.Nikitinskii, V.Filimonov and O.Koluka.
   The exhibition is complemented by the designs by Private Joint Stock Company "Institute" Kirovohradahroproekt"- Guardian angel of Ukraine – memorial in honor of the 2000 anniversary of the Nativity on the Cathedral Square, memorials to Elisavetgrad mayor Olexander Pashutin in front of Town Council building and a prominent statesman and writer Volodymyr Vynnychenko on the square near Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University. "Institute" Kirovohradahroproekt" celebrates its 55th anniversary this year.
   All the present were congratulated with the exhibition opening by deputy mayor of Kirovohrad S.Kolodiazhnyi, head of Kirovohrad regional branch of Ukrainian Heraldic Society, Merited Architect of Ukraine, honorable citizen of Kirovohrad V.Kryvenko, director-general of Private Joint Stock Company "Institute" Kirovohradahroproekt", Merited Constructor of Ukraine P.Dovchenko and chief editor of the newspaper of Kirovohrad Regional Council and Regional State Administration “Narodne slovo” V.Bazhan.
   During the event a new museum edition was presented – theme booklet “Heraldry of Kirovohrad region”, in which arms and flags of Kirovohrad and region, symbols of districts, towns, villages are shown.
