On June 4, 2015 to International Children's Day an exhibition of works of the best pupils of the 8th form of Art Department of Kirovohrad children’s art school “Artistic world of Daria Kostiuk, Karyna Laktina, Viktoriia Sliushchenko” was opened in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
   Such children’s vernisages are traditional. “Gallery of children’s art” has been active for many years in the museum. Its aim is a presentation of children’s art exhibitions, promotion of the best works of young artists, attraction of children to fine art studies.
   The current exhibition of children’s art organized at the initiative of a well-known Kirovohrad artist, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Yu.Vintenko, who had been heading Fine Art Department of Kirovohrad children’s art school in the village of Nove for more than 20 years. The exhibition was a bright event for everyone who is interested in art. The exposition consisted of 50 works by the young artists made in different techniques.
   It must be mentioned that the participants of the exhibition Daria Kostiuk, Karyna Laktina, Viktoriia Sliushchenko are repeated winners of regional competition of pupils’ art “Rainbow paint” and regional stage of all-Ukrainian competition of pupils’ art dedicated to Shevchenko’s days “Lets unite, my brothers!”. And Viktoriia Sliushchenko received Diploma for her win in XII all-Ukrainian competition of pupils’ art dedicated to Shevchenko’s days “Lets unite, my brothers!” in 2013.
   The young artists were congratulated with the vernissage by deputy head of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Kirovohrad Town Council N.Chorna, director of O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum V.Chernova, director of Kirovohrad children’s art school S.Miedviedieva, artists-teachers Yu.Vintenko, H.Yarova-Vintenko and L.Yakovlieva, teachers from school №10, where the girls study, and also parents, classmates and worshipers of their talent.
