On February
25-27, 2015 A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum presented mobile exhibition “Town of Yakov
Pauchenko” within the framework of the exhibition “Architecture. Heraldry. Local
history. Advertising design”, organized by Kirovograd Regional Chamber of Commerce and
Industry.
Exposition included photo-documentary materials from the museum funds on life
and work of a well-known Elisavetgrad architect Yakov Pauchenko (1866-1914). A lot of
buildings, which are now architectural monuments and gems of the historical town centre,
were constructed on his projects.
Regional Award in architecture, heraldy and veksilology and decorative and
applied art named after Yakov Pauchenko was initiated by the Kirovograd Regional Council
in 2002 and is given annually on July 1 on Day of Architecture of Ukraine in the memorial
hall of the museum.
Participants of the exhibition were: Kirovograd institutes “Miskbudproekt”
and “Kirovogradahroproekt”, which celebrate 70th and 55th anniversaries respectively
this year. They showed projects of the modern town buildings, which authors are Kirovograd
architects laureates of Regional Award in architecture, heraldy and veksilology and
decorative and applied art named after Yakov Pauchenko in nomination “architecture”
– I.Medynskyy, L.Kharlamova, H.Kovtun, O.Hrydacheva; Kirovograd regional branch of
Ukrainian Heraldic Society that represented heraldic symbols of Kirovograd region for the
designing of which Regional Award named after Yakov Pauchenko in nomination “heraldy”
was awarded to the members of UHS V.Kryvenko, K.Shlyakhovyy, O.Polyachok, S.Filimonov,
S.Maruschak and many others; Kirovograd Regional Universal Research Library named after
D.I.Chizhevsky with the exhibition of books on corresponding themes and Kirovograd
advertising agency “Anturazh A” with the samples of their production.
Head of Kirovograd Regional Council O.Chornoivanenko, acting mayor of
Kirovograd I.Markovskyy and other officials were present at the exhibition opening.
The exhibition was attended not only by experts but also by the youth –
students of Kirovograd National Technical University and Kirovograd Engineering College,
pupils of Kirovograd children's art school named after A.Osmerkin. |
