On October 29, 2014 Art workshop “Model of artistic architecture” took place in A.A.Osmerlkin Art-Memorial Museum. The workshop was held within the framework of cultural and art events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of death of a famous Elisavetgrad architect Ya.Pauchenko.
   This joint art project of the museum and the Fine Arts Department of Kirovograd children's school of arts, initiated two years ago, provides open lessons in the museum halls during which the pupils under the direction of their teachers H.Yarova-Vintenko, O.Dubrova and a member of the National Union of artists of Ukraine Yu.Vintenko reproduce an art studio in the expositional surroundings.
   The topic of the current art workshop was determined by an architectural work of an architect Ya.Pauchenko. The participants of eth workshop had a task to reproduce in their works their own impressions of unique buildings, constructed on Ya.Pauchenko’s projects during the late XIX – early XX centuries, which are now architectural and town building landmarks, and also to make stage architectural still life. The result of the workshop was an express exhibition of the young artists’ drawings, in which they reflected architectural gems of the historical centre of the modern Kirovograd and also their own vision of an architect’s study.
   All the participants of the workshop received a unique philatelic souvenir – an envelope “Yakiv Pauchenko. 1866-1914” with a postmark of special cancellation of the First day, published by Ukrposhta in 2006 to the 140th anniversary of the architect, and a museum booklet “Yakov Pauchenko’s town”.
