On October 3,
2014 an opening of a personal exhibition of a well-known Kirovograd artist, a member of
the National Union of artists of Ukraine Felix Polonskyj and a presentation of a catalogue
“Lyrical motives of Felix Polonskyj” took place in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
These events were held within the framework of the project of the series of art exhibition
“Laureates of A.Osmerkin regional award in the sphere of art and history of art”,
which was set up by the museum. The project is aimed at popularization of creative works
of Kirovograd artists – laureates of A.Osmerkin regional award in the sphere of art and
history of art, which was established in 2005, in the nominations “national tradition”
and “modern tendencies”. The project presupposes organization of personal exhibitions
and publishing of catalogues with articles about artists and reproductions of their best
works.
Felix Mykhaylovych Polonskyj – a laureate of the Award in 2007
in the nomination “national tradition”. Colleagues-artists, poets and writers, whose
books were illustrated by F.Polonskyj, and worshipers of his work congratulated the
painter with his vernisage. A speech of Honoured architect of Ukraine, honorary freemen of
Kirovograd V.Kryvenko was especially interesting, because he told about common years of
studying with F.Polons’kyj in Invanins’k Art College in Russia (1960s).
A musical greeting was a performance by O.Tereshchenko – a teacher of
Kirovograd children’s music school ¹1 named after H.Neuhaus. |
