A traditional
musical event was held on October 1, 2014 in International Day of Music in A.A.Osmerkin
Art-Memorial Museum. The participants of the event were pupils and teachers of Kirovograd
children’s music school ¹1 named after H.Neuhaus.
This year concert program was rather diverse. Violin, grand piano, balalaika
with guitar and bandura, wind instruments – flute, saxophone, clarinet could be heard at
the event. The repertoire presented a musical history because works of famous composers of
the XVI – XX centuries – Italians G.Caccini, D.Scarlatti, F.Veracini, Austrians
W.Mozart, Ch.Gluck and F.Kreisler, Englishman L.Reed and many pieces by modern Ukrainian
composers – L.Revutski, H.Kompaniets, K.Dankevych, B.Mikheev and O.Vinnytski, were
performed. Audience enjoyed solo performances, and duets, and wonderful string ensemble
“Dyvosvit” and quintet of wind and percussion instruments. And the main character of
the concert was Rainbow in Ukrainian national costume, who wished to all the present
fulfillment of their dreams woven out of rainbow colours.
At the end of the concert participants were congratulated by the school
director Ye.Malyavkina and the museum director V.Chernova, who gave Commendation for the
active participation in museum cultural and art events to the school staff. |
