On February 2, 2024, a creative meeting of Sofiia Bohachenko, a student of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, with students and teachers of the Art School named after O.O.Osmerkin, of which she is a graduate, took place in the O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum. The artistic event was initiated by the director of the school, Hanna Tymofiienko, who believes that communication between students and graduates who continue their art education in higher educational art institutions motivates them to consciously acquire knowledge of fine arts and helps in further professional choice.
    The young artist Sofiia Bohachenko is successfully studying in the second year of the Faculty of Decorative and Applied Arts at the Department of Artistic Textiles. She illustrated her interesting story about the peculiarities of the educational process at the academy with her own creative works - graphic, pictorial and decorative. The special attention of those present was attracted by the fabric finishings made in the technique of art quilting, tai dai painting and weaving, in particular, carpet weaving.
    Sofiia Bohachenko shared warm memories of her first art teacher at a secondary school in the village of Berezhynka, near Kropyvnytskyi, who noticed her drawing abilities and encouraged her to study professionally, about her parents' support and how she tried several times to enter an art school , but she was still young in age, and most importantly, she sincerely thanked the teachers of the art school for the high level of training and for the instruction of the director of the school, Hanna Tymofiienko, which became her life rule, that a creative approach must be in everything - both in education and in performance of artistic tasks, and generally in world perception.
    The students of the art school liked to ask Sofiia Bohachenko various questions about her artistic preferences, about further creative realization and, of course, about interesting moments from student life.
    School graduate Sofiia Bohachenko was congratulated by the school's deputy director for educational work, Tethana Bondar, teachers Oleksandr Kryvko and Ihor Tymofiienko, with wishes for success in studies and creative endeavors. And the director of the museum, Vita Chernova, presented her with museum booklets, a catalog of the Honored Artist of Ukraine Hryhorii Hnatiuk, an exhibition of whose graphic works was recently exhibited in the museum, and invited Sofiia Bohachenko, together with her fellow students, to participate in the museum's student art project "New Generation" and the art competition " Youth palette" named after Leonid Bondar.
    For a long time, the students and teachers of the art school were interested in examining the exhibition of educational creative works of Sofiia Bohachenko, talking with her and taking pictures.
