On October 25, 2023,
an art event of the Kropyvnytskyi Museum of Musical Culture named after
K.Szymanowski "IN MEMORIAM was held in the O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial
Museum. Musical projects of Andrii Nadezhdin", dedicated to the memory
of the honored artist of Ukraine Andriy Nadiezhdin (1963 - 2022), as
part of the XXI festival "Autumn with the music of Karol Szymanowski".
Director of the museum and head of the public organization "Union
of Poles "Polonia" named after Karol Szymanowski" Oleksandr Poliachok
talked about the long-term cooperation with the leading researcher of
the O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum and the Honored Artist of Ukraine
Andrii Nadiezhdin in the creation of musical projects, in particular,
the design of the performance "Music of the Ukrainian Nativity Scene",
which was successfully presented by the chamber ensemble "Yelisavegrad
musical college" in the memorial hall of the museum at the end of the
1990s, and the design of the logos of the festivals "Neuhaus musical
meetings", "Perekotipole" and posters of the concerts of the folklore
group "Mlynochok".
"A year ago, in October 2022, the heart of an artist who
loved and felt music in a subtle way, willingly collaborated with
musicians-performers and gave them his paintings, as well as mock-ups of
posters and decorations, stopped beating," Oleksandr Poliachok noted
during the speech and presented the improvised art an exhibition of
paintings by Andrii Nadiezhdin from his own collection and the
collection of the Museum of Musical Culture named after K. Szymanowski,
supplemented with paintings from the funds of the O.Osmerkin Art
Memorial Museum, including "Self-Portrait" and "Ukrainian Lyrical".
Memories of the talented artist were shared by musicians,
artists and museum workers. Svitlana Kontsedalova, a teacher at the
Kropyvnytskyi College of Music, who at one time led the chamber ensemble
"Yelisavetgrad Music College" and is currently the co-leader of the folk
group "Mlynochok", spoke about the unique project "Music of the
Ukrainian Nativity Scene", which combined the musical compositions of
the Christmas event, illustrated by paintings and graphic works of
Andrii Nadiezhdin, who personally hosted the event and read literary
texts on religious topics. And in order to feel this peculiar artistic
mystery, one of the main attributes of which is the Christmas star made
by Andrii Nadiezhdin, which is still used during the New Year holidays,
together with her husband Oleksandr Poliachok, she sang carols and other
songs about angels - iconic characters in Andrii Nadezhdin's works.
Liudmyla Demydenko, a talented portraitist and member of the
National Union of Artists of Ukraine, recalled her years of study at the
Dnipropetrovsk State Art School named after E.V. Vuchetych
together with his friend Andrii Nadiezhdin.
A well-known local historian, chief custodian of the funds of
the museum of musical culture named after K. Szymanowski Olena Klassova
shared how in her time, when she worked in the O.Osmerkin museum, she
witnessed the writing of poems by Andrii Nadiezhdin, which were recently
published by the Imex-LTD publishing house in the 2-volume collection "Thoughts
Aloud", illustrated by the artist's works, by the way, the author's
layout of this book was donated to the museum funds by the director of
the publishing house, Tamara Samyliak, who was also present at the event.
Special emotions were caused by the presentation of a slide
film of numerous photos of Andrii Nadiezhdin, which was presented for
the first time in the I.K.Karpenko-Kary Literary Memorial Museum during
the opening by the director of the museum, Larysa Hosiainova, of the
thematic exhibition "My friend left without closing the door, leaving a
passage to the horizon ...", dedicated to the memory of the Honored
