Cultural and art event "Art lectures on life and creative work of A.A.Osmerkin" has begun in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. The event is dedicated to the painter's 120th anniversary. Public theme lectures on "A.A.Osmerkin and art life of Elisabethgrad", "Landscape in A.A.Osmerkin's creative work", "Symbolism in A.A.Osmerkin's creative work", "A.A.Osmerkin and the epoch of socialist realism in art" are to be conducted during October-November on the second and fourth Friday. Theme exhibitions from the museum funds will be shown during public lectures.
   On October 12, 2012 a public lecture "A.A.Osmerkin and art life of Elisabethgrad" was conducted in the museum. It was dedicated to Artist Day. Also a theme exhibition was presented. Students of the Department of Art of V.V.Vinnychenko Kirovograd Pedagogical University became the first listeners of the lecture and the first viewers of the exhibition.
