On June 21, 2023, a
literary and musical meeting "Poetic Roadblock" was held in the Art and
Memorial Museum of O.O.Osmerkin with the participation of talented
writers from Kropyvnytskyi - the head of the Kirovohrad Regional
Organization of the National Union of Writers of Ukraine, the laureate
of the Yevgenii Malaniuk Regional Literary Award in the "Poetry"
category, candidate of philological sciences Nadiia Harmazii, head of
the military-patriotic education department of the Kropyvnytskyi city
station of young technicians, poet, novelist and publicist Pavlo Chornyi,
teacher of the art school named after O.O.Osmerkin, artist and musician
Oleksandr Kyrianov and the initiator of the poet's event publicist and
journalist Roman Liubarskyi, who read the author's patriotic and
anti-war works.
From time immemorial, the Ukrainian nation has been famous
for creativity and the ability to rhyme, but in difficult times, poetic
works are born that not only reflect the horrors of war, but also
inspire faith in the Victory of courageous Ukrainian soldiers. The war
lyrics of Ukraine of the 21st century are called "Poetry of the Free"
and it is under this name that the Ministry of Culture and Information
Policy of Ukraine created a site where it offers to send poetry written
during the war: "Our poetry is a weapon that inspires those who hold
weapons the real one. Every poem, every line, every word is part of
Ukrainian history. After our victory, future generations should remember
what we went through and be inspired by courage and heroic struggle.
Join the cultural heritage and add your works, because we know for sure
that wars end, but poetry does not."
So, the poets of Kropyvnytskyi proved to all those who came
to the museum for the meeting that they present the steppe region with
dignity on the poetic battlefield for the freedom and independence of
Ukraine. The host of the event, Roman Liubarskyi, spoke about the idea
of the literary action "Poetic Roadblock" and introduced his colleagues.
Nadiia Harmazii recited her poetic works with heartfelt
emotion, which were included in her edited anthology of 70 Ukrainian
poets "Poetry without shelter", which was published in June 2022 and
which contains poems written in the first month of the war, noting that
nowadays there is no writing, because I want to be silent because of the
pain and grief that Ukrainians are experiencing.
The writer and teacher Pavlo Chornyi, in the image of the
storyteller Grandfather Pavlus, the hero of the educational project "Kazkodrom"
of the Kropyvnytskyi City Station of Young Technicians, which from this
year will also screen his author's children's patriotic fairy tales as
part of the video project "Victory School", read several fairy tales in
verse for adults in in the form of sharp satire on the topic of today,
which he plans to publish in a separate book.
Oleksandr Kyrianov sang author's musical compositions based on poems by
Pavlo Chornyi and Roman Liubarskyi accompanied by a guitar.
It is symbolic that the art event took place on a holiday for
the museum, because it was on June 21, 1994 that the museum exposition
was first opened to visitors. That's why there were gifts. The poets
Roman Liubarskyi and Pavlo Chornyi donated books of their works with
autographs to the museum collection - Roman Liubarskyi "Grain and staff"
(2012), the cover and illustrations of which were made by a well-known
Krypynytskyi graphic artist, laureate of the Oleksandr Osmerkin regional
prize in the field of fine arts and art history in nominations "newest
directions" Volodymyr Kyrianov, and Pavlo Chornyi "Stork over the Bridge
(local tales of Grandfather Pavlus)" (2022) with color illustrations by
pupils of the "Painting Studio" group of the Kropyvnytskyi city center
of children's and youth creativity. And the artist and musician
Oleksandr Kyrianov presented the museum with his author's song "Happy
birthday, museum!", which he wrote impromptu a few hours before the
poets' meeting.
At the end of the event, the director of the museum, Vita
Chernova, sincerely thanked the participants of the poetry event and
presented them with a souvenir magnet with the image of the "Ukrainian
Dream" wartime postage stamp, the basis of which was the drawing by the
11-year-old artist Sofiia Kravchuk from the city of Liuboml, Volyn
Region, of the world's most powerful aircraft AN-225 "Dream", which
flies to the stars, is decorated with pink flowers, personifying the
indomitability and will of Ukrainians: the plane was destroyed, but it
is impossible to destroy the Ukrainian dream, the desire for freedom,
and the main dream of each of us is victory over the enemy, which
Ukrainians are bringing closer by working its direction.. |
