On December 8, 2022, the traditional "Artistic
readings to the birthday of O.Osmerkin" on the topic: "The artistic
image of Ukraine in the works of compatriot artists" took place in the
O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum for the 130th anniversary of the
artist's birthday and teacher Oleksandr Osmerkin.
The scientific and artistic educational project "Artistic
readings" to the birthday of O.O.Osmerkin" is held annually on the
birthday of O.O.Osmerkin according to the old calendar style on November
26 or the day before, since December 8 is the birthday of O.O.Osmerkin
according to the new in calendar style, celebrations are held in the
museum on the occasion of the presentation of the regional award in the
field of fine arts and art history named after Oleksandr Osmerkin.
The purpose of the event is to involve students and teachers
of higher educational institutions of art and humanitarian profile,
students and teachers of art schools in the scientific research and
popularization of the work of the world-famous artist and teacher O.O.
Osmerkin, architectural activities of Yakov Pauchenko and urban planners
Yelysavetgrad (Kropyvnytskyi), countrymen artists - graduates and
teachers of the Evening Drawing Classes of Yelisavetgrad Zemstvo Real
School, works of modern Ukrainian artists - laureates of regional art
awards named after Oleksandr Osmerkin and in the field of architecture,
heraldry and vexillology and decorative and applied arts named after
Yakov Pauchenko.
The priority task of the event is to provide an opportunity
for students and pupils to publicly implement the results of their
scientific research on the history of the development of the fine arts
of Kirovohrad Region, as well as to increase the role and authority of
the O.O.Osmerkin Memorial Art Museum in scientific and educational art
studies.
The format of the event is a conference. In 2022, in
connection with the introduction of martial law in Ukraine in accordance
with the Decree of the President of Ukraine dated 24.02.2022 No. 64/2022
"On the introduction of martial law in Ukraine", the temporary
suspension of receiving materials for the regional award in the field of
fine arts and art history named after Oleksandr Osmerkin in compliance
with the order of the chairman of the Kirovohrad Regional Council dated
31.03.2022 No. 84-gr "On the suspension of the acceptance of competition
materials for obtaining regional prizes" and the corresponding
restrictions on holding mass events, the scientific and educational
project "Artistic readings for the birthday of O.O.Osmerkin" on the
topic: "The artistic image of Ukraine in the work of country artists" to
the 130th anniversary of the birth of the artist and teacher Oleksandr
Osmerkin is held on December 8 by correspondence and remotely on the
museum's website in the "Selected events" section.
The participants of this year's readings are: students of the
Department of Art Education of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and
Arts of the Central Ukrainian State University named after Volodymyr
Vynnychenko and the "Architecture and Urban Planning" specialty of the "Architecture
and Management" Department of the Kropyvnytskyi Construction Vocational
College, their teachers - Candidate of Art Studies Olena Kyrychenko and
a teacher of special disciplines of architecture Hanna Kuzmenko, members
of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine Iryna Kukharenko and
Tetyana Penyaz, head of the fine arts department of the Children's
School of Arts in the city of Kropyvnytskyi Olha Krasnopolska, teacher
of the Art School named after O.O.Osmerkin Oleksandr Kyrianov of the
city of Kropyvnytskyi and museum scientists - the main custodian of the
funds of the Museum of Musical Culture named after Karol Szymanowski
Olena Klassova, librarian of the Kirovohrad regional museum of local
history Myroslava Yegurnova in co-authorship with Oleksandr Yegurnov.
The reading program also includes reports and presentations
developed in previous years by the leading researcher of the
O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum, expert art critic, honored artist of
Ukraine Andrii Nadiezhdin, who passed away suddenly on October 19, 2022.
These scientific and artistic studies not only shed light on the
peculiarities of the formation of the artistic worldview of compatriot
artists, but also provide a well-argued description of the tragedy of
the creative personality in the conditions of the totalitarian regime in
the USSR in the 1930s - 1950s and reveal the peculiarities of the
development of fine art in the USSR during the period of socialist
realism in the 1970s x - 1980s. |
