On July 19, 2022,
the presentation of the solo exhibition of Yulia Tarasova's watercolor
painting "The Paths of Khutir Nadiya " dedicated to the 140th
anniversary of theTheater of Luminaries was held in the O.O.Osmerkin Art
Memorial Museum.
Kropyvnytskyi artist Yuliya Tarasova is a graduate of the art
faculty of the Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named
after V.Vynnychenko. For many years, she successfully worked as a
graphic designer at the publishing and printing center "Imex-LTD" in
Kropyvnytskyi. She is an active participant of plein air events of the
Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of Artists of
Ukraine.
This is the artist's first solo exhibition. Her exhibition
consists of almost 50 watercolors made by the artist during 2020-2022
during creative trips, excursions and plein airs events in the Ivan
Karpenko-Kary (Tobilevich) State Nature Reserve-Museum "Khutir Nadiya".
"For a long time, I harbored the idea of writing a kind of
portrait of the writer's estate "Khutir Nadiya", which is unique for
Ukraine. And so it happened! After numerous excursions, the first works
were born. But with each subsequent visit to this amazing enclave of
creativity, new gems emerge again and again, which I want to share on
paper. Here the divine blue glows in everything: the breeze envelops the
branches of huge oaks, "water plays with autumn leaves", the viburnum
burns, the color palette conveys even the aroma of apples and freshly
cut grass... Here you relax, rest your soul, enjoy the epic peace of
nature. There is a war in Ukraine. I want the swing of emotions that
covered us to recede even for a moment. I want to share my love for our
glorious land with everyone. Enjoy the reflection of this "green oasis
in the middle of the vast Ukrainian steppe". And get inspired for
Victory! At the end of the exhibition, the works can be purchased, part
of the proceeds will be transferred to help our army," said the author
of the exhibition during its opening.
Yuliya Tarasova was congratulated on the exhibition by the
director of the museum, Vita Chernova, leading researcher, honored
artist of Ukraine Andriy Nadezhdin, who noted the lyricism and poetics
of the presented watercolors, honored journalist of Ukraine Valery
Myatovych, who presented the recently published author's book "Hallowed
be your name..." , the head of the public organization "The United
Family of Kropyvnychchyna" Olena Stepanok and the head of the regional
public organization "Union of Bulgarians "Nashite Khora" Serhiy Osadchyi,
a fellow student and now a teacher of the Oleksandr Osmerkin art school
Oleksandr Kiryanov, architect and artist Iryna Kukharenko, scientists
employees of the I.K. Karpenko-Kary Literary and Memorial Museum, the
Karol Szymanowski Museum of Musical Culture, and the Art Museum.
Everyone who came to Yulia Tarasova's watercolor
vernissage not only admired the artist's creative works, but also bought
them for their own collections. |
