On July 1, 2022, a
public lecture-presentation on the topic: "Honored architect of Ukraine
Vitaly Kryvenko: life, creativity, public activity" was held in the
O.O.Osmerkin Memorial Art Museum for the Day of Architecture of Ukraine.
Leading researcher of the museum, art critic, Honored Artist
of Ukraine Andriy Nadezhdin demonstrated a photo-documentary
presentation about the famous Kropyvnytskyi architect, Honorary Citizen
of the city of Kirovohrad (Kropyvnytskyi), Honored Architect of Ukraine
Vitalyi Kryvenko (1937-2020) and a video recording of the interview of
the architect to journalists of the TV and radio company "TTV ", made in
the museum during the presentation of the regional award in the field of
architecture, heraldry and vexillology and decorative and applied arts
named after Yakov Pauchenko in the nomination "heraldry and vexillology"
in 2018.
Vitalyi Yefremovich Kryvenko was the chief architect
of the city of Kirovohrad (Kropyvnytskyi) in 1976-1987, is the author
and co-author of more than 50 projects of social and cultural buildings,
monuments and improvement objects in Kropyvnytskyi, the initiator of the
development and revival of heraldry in Ukraine, author of the coat of
arms and flag of the city of Kropyvnytskyi, author and co-author of
coats of arms, flags of administrative districts and cities of regional
importance of the Kirovohrad region, as well as stamps, jubilee coins
and other symbols, author of numerous articles in the mass media on
issues of heraldry and vexillology, architecture and urban planning,
co-author catalog album "Symbols of Kirovohrad region" (2002) and
collection "Symbols of administrative districts and cities of regional
significance of Kirovohrad region" (2004).
In May 2021, the O.O.Osmerkin Art Memorial Museum exhibited
the exhibition "First, the artist: Exhibition of paintings and graphic
works of the Honored Architect of Ukraine Vitalyi Kryvenko", dedicated
to the Memorial Day of the Honored Architect of Ukraine Vitalyi
Efremovich Kryvenka, as part of the artistic project "In the artist's
workshop".
The event was attended by the head of the Kirovohrad regional
organization of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine, Honored
Architect of Ukraine Yurii Penyaz and member of the board of the
organization, member of the National Union of Architects and Artists of
Ukraine Iryna Kukharenko, who presented the museum's fund collection
with an architectural model of a complex of buildings for the
development of the historical part of the city at the corner of the
central streets Teatralna (former Lenin) and Volodymyr Panchenko (former
Decabristiv), designed by leading architects in the mid-1980s.
The director of the museum, Vita Chernova, presented the
architects with a certificate of thanks for their active participation
in joint cultural and artistic events and on the occasion of celebrating
the Day of Architecture of Ukraine. |
