Recently a
presentation of the book “Each Sound Echoes on the Earth…” Arseny Tarkovsky and
Ukarine: sketches, articles, essays” by famous Kirovograd journalist and poet Roman
Lubarsky took place in A.A.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum.
The book was published in Kirovograd by “Imeks-LTD” publishing house with
the assistance of the deputy of Kirovograd Regional Rada Alexander Shatalov within
regional initiative “History of the native land” of the head of Kirovograd Regional
State Administration Sergiy Larin.
This popular science edition is a collection of articles written by
R.Lubarsky about life and creative work of a talented poet- humanist, native of
Elisabethgrad Arseny Tarkovsky. The book is illustrated with numerous photographs from the
family archive. It also contains facts from the poet’s biography, recollections of the
contemporaries and of course his peerless poetic works.

book about Tarkovsky lies in a combination of these qualities”, - wrote Doctor of
Philology, Professor, dean of Journalism Department of Zaporizhia National University

The poet’s daughter Marina Arsenivna Tarkovska expressed sincere words of
thanks to the author of the book during its presentation. She came to Kirovograd to visit
events dedicated to the 105th anniversary of the famous poet and translator Arseny
Tarkovsky.
There were a lot of people at the book presentation, many of them bought
books with the author’s autograph. Performance of Donetsk bard Sergiy Ryzhkovsky was a
special treat. He wrote a lot of musical compositions on the undying poems by Arseny
Tarkovsky. |
