On December 8, 2020, on the birthday of
the Professor of Painting Oleksandr Osmerkin which if on the same day as International
Artist Day, the staff of the O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum received congratulations,
art gift, and a creative meeting.
Tradiotional flowers to the fellow painter and best wishes from the
director of the Music School No.1 named after Heinrich Neuhaus Yevheniia Maliavkina who
always happy to organize unique concerts with the performances of pupils and teachers at
the vernissage, meet and greet events, and other art events in the museum.
A famous gallery owner and philanthropist Mykola Tsukanov, a laureate
of the Regional Award in Fine Art and Study of Art named after Oleksandr Osmerkin in the
nomination “study and history of art”, handed a painting by the famous painter, a
member of the National Union of Ukraine Oleksii Malik from Odesa to the museum collection.
This year in October, the artist presented his personal exhibition in the gallery “Elisavetgrad”.
The artist decided to present his work “Kosh Ataman” (2018) after the visit to the
museum where he enjoyed the exposition and communication. This painting will become the
gem of the museum collection and will be exhibited at the exhibitions of modern fine art.
On this festive day, Mykola Tsukanov came to the museum with an artist, a member of the
National Union of Artists of Ukraine Vlad Huriev, who is from Mykolaiv, to introduce him
to the museum of Oleksandr Osmerkin.
This year Oleksandr Osmerkin’s birthday became a real art celebration
for the museum staff. Our friends came to the museum on this day – a couple of painters,
members pf the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Oleksandr and Liudmyla Demydenko,
Merited Architect of Ukraine Yurii Peniaz with his wife Tetiana who is also an architect,
Ph.D. in Art History, associate professor of the Department of Arts of Central Ukrainian
State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko Olena Kyrychenko, the chief
curator of the Museum of Music Culture named after Karol Szymanowski Olena Klassova, and a
press photographer of the newspaper “Vechirnia Hazeta” Oleksandr Shuleshko.
The museum staff and everyone present congratulated Oleksandr Demydenko
on receiving a prestigious Regional Award in Fine Art and Study of Art named after
Oleksandr Osmerkin in the nomination “national tradition”. The museum staff presented
Oleksandr Demydenko with a traditional souvenir cup with an image of the museujm building
and also a 2021 calendar with a color reproduction of the painting of Merited Artist of
Ukraine SerhiiShapovalov “O.Osmerkin’s house. Frost” (1989).
A famous art historian Olena Kyrychenko presented the painter with
purple chrysanthemums, by the way she is also a laureate of the Regional Award in Fine Art
and Study of Art named after Oleksandr Osmerkin but in the nomination “study and history
of art”. The art historian mentioned that the coloration of the monumental painting of
St.Volodymyr Church altar, made by Oleksandr Demydenko, impressed her the most when she
saw them for the first time.
The architects Tetiana and YuriiPeniaz expressed their fascination by
the paintings in the church which is located in the central part of Kropyvnytskyi and is
historical and architectural monument. The monumental work by Oleksandr Demydenko received
a high acclaim from the experts. And it is rather symbolic because Yurii Peniaz is a
laureate of the Regional Award in Architecture, Heraldry, Vexillology, Decorative and
Applied Art named after Yakiv Pauchenko in the nomination “architecture”.
The museum staff and this year laureate of the award Oleksandr
Demydenko received congratulations from the well-known local history expert, a laureate of
the Award in Local History named after Volodymyr Yastrebov Olena Klassova.
But the purest congratulation was from Liudmyla Demydenko who told
about his husband Oleksandr Demydenko, about his creative work, and that she is always
ready to support him because she is also an artist and understands his thoughts, artistic
ideas, and creative plans.
All the participants of the improvised creative meeting were invited
for the professional photoshoot from a laureate of the Town Award among Photo Artists
named after Vasyl Kovpak, a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, a
famous photographer Oleksandr Shuleshko. The photoshoot took place in the memorial hall
where Oleksandr Osmerkin’s paintings and graphic works are exhibited in the house of his
uncle, an outstanding architect Yakiv Pauchenko, where he was brought up and where
currently O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum preserves the memory of the artists. |
