the Regional Universal Scientific Library named after D.Chyzhavskii, presented the works
by Liudmyla Kryvenko because it is in this popular library numerous personal exhibitions
of the master were held. The artist presents not only our land but the whole Ukraine at
the international level. For example in Beaujolais in France at the exhibition of textile
art in 2013, works of only two artists were presented, including the patchwork panel by
Liudmyla Kryvenko. And at the International Patchwork Exhibition in Verona, Italy, in
2015, her work won Grand Prix from the main contributor of the event. The famous pysanka
master, Tetyana Storozhenko, fascinated by her narration about incredible pysanky, the way
they are created, the meaning of the symbols, research and restoration of the traditional
canonic pysanky ornaments, and the usage of the author’s techniques of painting and
cutting of carved pysanky.
Everyone who came to the vernissage admired the exhibited works of the
talented masters and left their feedback because the contest committee will take it into
account while choosing the laureate of the award. |
