On June 19, 2018 an opening of a
personal exhibition of paintings and graphic works “Imprints of time and
space” by a famous Kropyvnytsky artist, Merited Artist of Ukraine Andrii
Nadezhdin took place in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. The exhibition
was dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the artist.
Nadezhdin Andrii Mykhailovych was born on June 19,
1963 in Zaporizhzhia. Later the family moved to Kirovohrad (now
Kropyvnytskyi). Graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State Art College named
after Ye.V.Vuchetych (1986) and with honors from the National Academy of
Fine Art and Architecture of Ukraine in Kyiv, the Department of History
and Theory of Fine Art (2004).Member of the National Union of Artists of
Ukraine (1990).Laureate of Regional Award in fine arts and study of art
named after Olexandr Osmerkin in the nominations “modern tendencies”
(2008) and "study and history of arts" (2010) and Regional Local History
Award named after Volodymyr Yastrebov (2015). In 2013 received an
honorary title of “Merited Artists of Ukraine”. Participant of regional,
national, international and foreign exhibitions. Works are kept in the
National Art Museum of Ukraine, Directorate of exhibitions of the
Ministry of Culture of Ukraine and Directorate of exhibitions of the
National Union of Artists of Ukraine, Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum,
O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum, V.Ivasiuk Memorial Museum in
Chernivtsi, Historical Museum of the town of Kamianka (former
Dniprodzerzhinsk). a lot of private collections in Ukraine and abroad.
A deputy mayor of the town of Kropyvnytskyi Nataliia Dziuba
congratulated A.M.Nadezhdin on the jubilee vernissage and presented him
with a watch engraved with his name from the mayor Andrii Raikovych.
Also, Andrii Nadezhdin was congratulated by the head of the Department
of Culture and Tourism of the Town Council of Kropyvnytskyi Anna
Nazarets, director of Kirovohrad Regional Local History Museum, Honored
Worker of Culture of Ukraine Nataliia Akhapieieva, Ph.D. inArthistory,
associate professor of Art Department of Central Ukrainian Pedagogical
University named after V.Vynnychenko Olena Kyrychenko, head of
Kirovohrad Regional Organization of the National Union of Artists of
Ukraine Andrii Khvorost, and also artists, teachers, museum colleagues,
and worshipers of his works. A speech of a well-known art historian,
Merited Journalist of Ukraine Bronislav Kumanskyi was especially deep.
He characterized the artist’s creative work in details and wished him to
realize new plans and goals. The anniversary celebrant received
congratulations from his father, People’s Artist of Ukraine, with great
respect.
Andrii Nadezhdin as an author of the exhibition and a leading
researcher of O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum, where he has already
been working for more than twenty years, hosted the event. Before
inviting everyone to see the personal exhibition, the artists presented
an interesting photo-story about his life steps on his way to becoming
an artist.
All the visitors of the artist’s jubilee contemplated with
pleasure paintings and graphic works of Merited Artist of Ukraine Andrii
Nadezhdin presented in the exposition. The artist signed the exhibition
booklets for allthe worshipers of his works. |
