On November 8, 2017 a traditional event initiated by the Department of Culture and Tourism on the occasion of the celebration of the all-Ukrainian Culture Workers and Masters of Folk Art Day in the Regional Philharmonic Hall.
    The viewers had an opportunity to learn about activities and creative achievements of the town culture establishments – museums, libraries, music and art schools, municipal wind band. Art and book exhibitions, different theatrical performances, wonderful concert performances of young musicians, dancers and their teachers attracted much interest.
    O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum also joined festive events and prepared a new theme exhibition “Palette of the master of painting Olexandr Osmerkin” dedicated to the 125th anniversary of a prominent artist and pedagogue. The center of the exposition was an image of the palette used by the professor of painting O.O.Osmerkin when he worked in his studio, together with a collage of fragments of the painter’s works that are present in the museum exposition.  And a symbolic frame of the collage palette were photos of O.O.Osmerkin of different years which brightly fix significant events of his life, creative and pedagogic paths, revealing him as a human and personality in the moments of creative activity.
    Congratulatory speeches of the mayor of Kropyvnytskyi A.P.Raikovych, Town Counsel secretary A.O.Tabalov and head of the Department of Culture and Tourism A.F.Nazarets were given during the event.
    And before November 7, festive events on the occasion of celebration Culture Workers Day took place in Academic Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre named after M.L.Kropyvnytskyi. During the events, the stuff of the museum was headed a Letter of appreciation from the Town Council and City Administration of Kropyvnytskyi.
