On October 13, 2016 an opening of personal exhibition of paintings and graphic works of a famous Kirovohrad artist L.Yakovleva took place in O.O.Osmerkin Art-Memorial Museum. Also a booklet “Romantic palette of LarysaYakovleva” prepared by the museum was presented.
This vernissage is jubilee for the artist and dedicated to her 70th anniversary.
   Yakovleva larysa Arkadiivna was born on October 13, 1946 in Kirovohrad (now Kropyvnytskyi). Finished Kirovohrad Children’s School of Painting (1963), graduated from Odessa State Art College named after M.Hrekov (1968), and Ukrainian Printing Institute named after Ivan Fedorov (1982). Worked in Kirovohradart and industrial plant of Art fund of Ukraine. Had been teaching at the Art Department of Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after VolodynyrVynnychenko for more than 10 years. Now teaches young artists at the Department of Fine Art of Kirovohrad Children’s School of Art.
   Not only colleagues – artists and pedagogues, but also friends and many students came to congratulate the artist on her birthday and opening of the exhibition. Chief specialist of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Kirovohrad Town Council V.Petrynska presented Letter of Commendation for work of many years and active creative work to L.Yakovleva. The congratulatory speeches were also made by head of Kirovohrad regional organization of the National Union of Artists Ukraine A.Khvorost, director of Kirovohrad Children’s Art School S.Medvedeva and head of the Department of Fine Art of the school, member of the National Union of Artists UkraineYu.Vintenko, senior lecturer of Art and Choreographic Faculty of the Department of Arts of Kirovohrad State Pedagogical University named after VolodynyrVynnychenkoL.Harbuzenko and researcher of Kirovohrad Regional Art Museum A.Kimnatnyi.
   A musical gift was a performance of a pupil of the 8th year of piano class of Kirovohrad Children’s Art School, laureate of national musical competitions ValentynaTkachenko and a teacher VolodymyrVoloshenko.
